Chase Bryant has had a rough go. After letting the world know about his attempted suicide. In a interview with PEOPLE he said, “I was chasing success…I wasn’t chasing happiness…I was trying to be something I wasn’t. I was just being who they told me to be”
It was 2018 Chase Bryant — best know for country hits such as “Take It on Back” and “Little Bit of You” — got into his truck, placed a handwritten note on his passenger seat and drove to a Nashville gas station where he would ultimately place the barrel of his loaded .357 revolver to his head.
Thank God he didn’t follow through with the ultimate solution to a temporary problem. Life will kick you down and continue to kick you while you’re down. You have to find a way to get your ass up and live. Live everyday God gives you. Kick life’s ass, show people you what you’re made of and show people love while doing so. Unless they’re an asshole. Then by all means cut them out of your life and let them see the your success from the sidelines.
Chase Bryant is back with a hell of a new song that screams COUNTRY and TEXAS! It’s called “Upbringing.”
We couldn’t be more proud of Chase for letting people in on personal his life and how it almost got the best of him. Life is not easy, but giving up is never the answer.
