CMA Award Nominees Are In And Laney Wilson Tops The List With 6 Nominations

The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION nominees for the 56TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS are here! Leading the nominee list and her first time ever being nominated ,Lainey Wilson, has six nominations total. Other top nominees include Ashley McBrde, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton and Songwriter/Producer Shane McAnally with five nominations each. Cody Johnson and Songwriter/Producer Josh Osborne both picked up 4 nominations. Luke Combs, HARDY, Miranda Lambert, MIDLAND and Carrie Underwood all got 3 nominations apiece. 

Miranda Lambert continues to add to her total as the most nominated female artist of all time, bringing her total to 61 which is now third overall, only trailing George Strait (83) and Alan Jackson (81).

The first-time CMA Awards nominees include BRELAND, ALEXA CAMPBELL, JACK CLARKE, DAN GRECH-MARGUERAT, JACOB DAVIS, DUSTIN HANEY, WALKER HAYES, JOSH JENKINS, MATT JENKINS, JASON LEHNING, BLAKE LIVELY, CHIP MATTHEWS, PARKER MCCOLLUM, MICHAEL MONACO, JASON NIX, MIKEY REAVES, HARPER SMITH, TRENT WILLMON, and the nomination leader herself, LAINEY WILSON.

Winners, who are chosen by CMA members, will be revealed during the show’s live broadcast from NASHVILLE, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9 on ABC with hosts LUKE BRYAN and PEYTON MANNING.
