Kelly Clarkson had never been drunk while recording music, until she went into the studio to do her part on, you guessed it, “You’re Drunk, Go Home”. She talked about it on Friday’s “Kelly Clarkson Show”.
Kelsea Ballerini was the guest, and Kelly told her the story of how she was “celebrating” her last day of work and didn’t know about the recording session. She said, “I get in the studio and said, ‘Look, I didn’t know I was going to be singing today. So I had to sing a song called ‘You’re Drunk, Go Home’, inebriated.”
It sounded like a fun session, though. She said there’s an outtake of her, quote, “crying and laughing so hard I almost peed my pants.”
