Back in the depths of the pandemic, a lot of people made abrupt career shifts…but this guy has beat all of the career changes.
A 55-year-old man in Maine named Jeffrey Bishop retired back in January of 2021, after serving 25 years in law enforcement. At the time, he said he “decided to go out on top.”
Mainly because he also had a NEW venture.
Just SIX DAYS after his retirement, Jeffrey was arrested for dealing drugs in a high school parking lot. He was caught giving a student hydrocodone and fentanyl and 110 hydrocodone pills were discovered in his “police duty” bag in his home.
He was charged with four counts of aggravated furnishing of schedule drugs and one count of unlawful trafficking. He was sentenced to four years in prison.
