I’m not an expert on the economy or recessions. But when people are pawning this kind of stuff, it can’t be a good sign.
Someone recently showed up at a pawn shop near Denver…with a USED COFFIN they wanted to sell.
The place is called Pasternack’s Pawn Shop, and they actually bought it. Or technically, the seller traded it for a cash loan. Our first thought was only a graverobber would have a used coffin. But thankfully, that’s not the case.
It’s a “transport casket” used for moving a body from one place to another. So no one’s ever been buried in it. But still.
If you’re in the market, the pawn shop hasn’t been able to sell it yet. It’s currently listed for $499.
