Growing up in south Texas it was normal seeing George Strait on a horse at rodeo or roping event. I didn’t see King George actually play in concert until I was in my 30s, but seeing him on a horse was an almost like a normal weekend thing.
Guess that’s why Texans think of George as a real cowboy (cause he is) and we’re a little spoiled like that seeing him just being George.
I’m also thankful to be living on earth the same time as George Strait is living…and living well.
