Just when you think you’ve heard about the stupidest thing that’s happening on social media…there’s always another level of stupidity you will find.
15 students in Mexico…fifth and sixth graders…had to be hospitalized this week after taking part in an internet “challenge” where a group of people take TRANQUILIZERS, and then “the last one to fall asleep wins.”
It’s unclear how prevalent it is but health authorities in Mexico have issued a national alert about it. This is the fourth school in Mexico to have an incident like this in the past year.
There’s no word on the condition of the kids or where they got the tranquilizers. It sounds like the drug was clonazepam and the authorities are trying to figure out if anyone is selling it without a prescription.
