Luke Combs in an interview backstage at the Grammys was asked if he thought he’d have such a successful career. He said, “I didn’t think this would happen. I believed my job would be in music in some capacity.”
He figured he’d be in a band, or maybe a backup singer, demo singer, or a songwriter. Luke said, “I just wanted to work in music, I just wanted to have a job that never felt like a job. That was the goal.”
