Watch Carly Pearce Tell Her Mom She Just Won A Grammy

It was great to see how surprised Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde were when “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” won a Grammy last Sunday. That award was well deserved.

Their parents were watching it, right? Maybe not. There’s a video of Carly backstage calling her mom, and it sounds like she missed it. She asked her mom if she’s watching, and then says, “I just won. Yeah, I just won. It’s nuts.  Just thought I’d tell ya.”
