Yes. The music video is finally here y’all.
In case ignored this or just accidentally missed this. In April, HARDY shared some news on how Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre reached out to HARDY to personally ask him to record a completely reimagined version of Snoop Dogg’s iconic 90’s song “Gin and Juice”. HARDY did just that.
The song was also produced by the legendary Dr. Dre, and today, they put out a short film to accompany the song.
The video features Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and actress Nicola Peltz Beckham. She is the daughter-in-law to David and Victoria Beckham, for whatever that’s worth. It finds HARDY in the year 1930, ready to sell Snoop and Dre a very special concoction alongside Nicola.
It’s very obvious that this is all a promotion of Snoop and Dre’s new premium spirits brand Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, which is a ready-to-drink cocktail named after their iconic 90’s song. HARDY did what he does best and totally rewrote the song with a very country flair for his rendition of the song. It’s definitely unlike anything you’ve ever heard and it’s sounds pretty different from the original 90’s hit.
HARDY said working with Snoop and Dre was “a dream,” from recording the song and making the music video, and he hops to hang out with them again soon.
