We haven’t had a real Koe Wetzel album since his “9 Lives” album was released in 2024.
Koe has of course returned to work and when I say work…it means he’s officially been back in the studio working his next album. The man as been busy in the studio too. He posted a handful of pictures of himself in the studio on his Instagram back in April and he captioned the post saying, “we are so f*cking back”.
After seeing this quick interview clip on TikTok, I believe him he’s definitely “f*cking back”. We might be seeing two albums coming from Koe…or maybe even a double album in early of 2026. He shared a little information about the new music he’s been working on with Road Dog Texas before his recent show at EECU Center in Stephenville, Texas.
According to Koe, he’s recorded not one but two records over the past year while working in the studio.
“We’ve got some new music coming. I don’t know exactly when the release date’s gonna be, but a lot of new music. I think we’re sitting on like two records now. We’re excited about all new music and finishing up the tour and hunting season.”
