Nate Smith Had A Very Clear Message For Any “Anti-American” Country Artist: “We Don’t Want You In Our Genre”

When Charlie Kirk was assassinated during an event at Utah Valley University last month, a lot of artists paid tribute to him during their shows.

Jason Aldean was definitely one of them too. While he was in Chicago, he had Nate Smith with him, of course somebody handed him a “Make America Great Again” hat from the crowd and he quickly put it on while singing one of his biggest songs.

After that night in Chicago…Nate Smith has been empowered to speak up for himself and his beliefs. He’s even made multiple posts about it, while not shying away from being a proud conservative.

In his latest social media post, he’s upsetting some fans and followers now after a recent video he shared. Nate was in his car driving, in a short…but very clear statement to his country music colleagues…he said what he said…

“I’m going to say this one time and one time only. If you are in country music, you’re a country music artist, and you are anti-American, you hate America, you don’t share the values of Americans, we don’t want you here.

We don’t want you in our genre. We want you out. Don’t let the door hit you in the a**.”

Have people never heard of Merle Haggard and Big Dog Toby Keith before? This is nothing new. I applaud Nate for his love of this country. As Toby said, “never apologize for being patriotic, f*ck ‘em.”
