BMI just released the Top 50 most-played songs of 2025. And while there are a few surprises (like the pretend country songs), most of these songs represent country pretty well.
Of course I’m wondering why some of these songs and artists aren’t being recognized at award shows if they’re this popular. Award shows are supposed to recognize success and the feel they’re actually ignoring a lot of it.
Without further commentary…here are the Top 10 most played songs according to BMI:
1. “28” by Zach Bryan
2. “4X4XU” by Lainey Wilson
3. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey
4. “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” by Luke Combs
5. “Am I Okay?” by Megan Moroney
6. “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)” by Dasha
7. “Back Then Right Now” by Tyler Hubbard
8. “Beautiful as You” by Thomas Rhett
9. “Bigger Houses” by Dan + Shay
10. “Boys Back Home” by Dylan Marlowe and Dylan Scott
