The most divisive Super Bowl just wrapped up…and no…I didn’t watch Bugs Bunny’s halftime show. I actually enjoyed the alternative programming Turning Point USA had to offer.
Here are the highlights of the Turning Point USA halftime show:
1. On the TP USA YouTube channel, the viewership hovered around 4 million throughout. And it peaked at 6.1 million.
2. It was a fully packed show. It started the moment the clock hit zero at the end of the first half. And it wrapped up after the Patriots had already run two plays in the second half.
3. It started with a sweet rendition of the National Anthem on electric guitar. Then Brantley Gilbert sang “Real American” and “Dirt Road Anthem”.
4. Gabby Barrett sounded great for her two songs, and Lee Brice sang “Drinking Class”, “Hard To Love” and a new song called “Country Nowadays”, which drops February 19th.
5. Kid Rock came out and sang his biggest hit, “Bawitdaba”…then there was a violin and cello duet . . . and then he closed it down with his version of “Till You Can’t”.
6. Then the show ended with a tribute to Charlie Kirk.
