Alan Jackson will receive the Nashville Songwriter Awards’ highest honor.
He’s going to receive the Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award. As he should. He’s been apart of writing and performing some of the best country music known to country music. The seventh annual ceremony will take place September 24th.
It was also announced that songwriter Buddy Cannon will receive the President’s Keystone Award. He’s the producer for Kenny Chesney and Willie Nelson.
