The Watershed Music Festival just announced it will not return in 2026.
Watershed has been held at Gorge Amphitheatre since 2012 and is one of the biggest country festivals in the Pacific Northwest. Next to Red Rocks Amphitheater as venue…Watershed is absolutely breathtaking to witness.
In a statement, organizers said the festival will be “taking a hiatus in 2026″…and any plans for the future are still unclear at this point. They did say, “any future plans will be announced accordingly.”
The festival is produced by Live Nation and has featured huge names like Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, and more.
Watershed is not alone in taking a hiatus in 2026. Country Roads Music Festival in Michigan and Country Jam Colorado have been canceled as well.
So, what’s going on? Folks online are saying it’s a combination of rising costs and too many festivals recycling the same artists. Which is probably a spot on assessment.
