Eight States Will Be Getting Their First Buc-ee’s

If you’ve ever been to a Buc-ee’s, you can see why it has a cult-like following with a cute beaver mascot.

It’s a gas station with spotless bathrooms and a convenience store that offers smoked brisket. It’s literally like heaven on earth. Of course I’m from Texas…so I’ll always be team Buc-ee’s.

While it’s mostly in the south, it’s expanding to eight states by the end of 2027. Those eight states are…Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

I’m still a little pissed off the town of Palmer Park due to Buc-ee’s withdrawing its proposal for a 74,000-square-foot travel center near I-25 and County Line Road in Palmer Lake, Colorado. They withdrew after following an intense community opposition over traffic, water, and, for some, the town’s small-town character. It would’ve been literally minutes from my house and I needed this in my life…and in my neighborhood. So, the people who were against it in Palmer Park can kiss my ass by the way.

  1. Meban Nc is one of worst locations for a buc ees. Interstate 40 is already congested and buc ees is gonna make it worse. Anywhere on I-40 between Raleigh and Winston is horrible.
Where Interstate 40 and Interstate 95 cross would be a good area.
