This man is about to receive another award this coming April.
Kenny Chesney will receive the Ocean Conservancy Award at Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Festival on April 12th. He’s is set to headline that night, which will be his sixth appearance at the festival too.
He said, “to me, when people can come together to learn about the ocean, how to treat it and have a great time with their friends, that’s a total win…I’m honored if I could be part of bringing how we treat the ocean into focus.”
Since 2013, Tortuga and Rock the Ocean have raised over $6 million for ocean conservation.
