DMVs can be awful and the people that work there are even worse sometimes. They don’t deserve this though.
On Monday, a brand new DMV opened in Lincoln, Nebraska and it didn’t take long for some sheer chaos to break out, and wait times to add up.
Just a few hours after the place officially opened, a 34-year-old man named Joseph Schrader walked in with some fish and carrots. He shouted, “Something fishy is going on!”
The man proceeded to throw fish and carrots everywhere. It’s unclear how much fish and carrots he had, but it must have been a lot.
Officials say he caused around $9,000 in damages to the brand new DMV. Mostly to the carpet and ceiling. Joseph was arrested for “criminal mischief.” It’s possible he wasn’t mentally stable at the time.
