Singer, songwriter, actor and producer Tim McGraw has had a long career and he has lot to be happy about this week as he just got his 45th #1 song with ”7500 OBO” making it to top of country music charts.
“7500 OBO” can be found on his 16th album ’Here On Earth’ album. It was written by songwriters Matt McGinn, Jennifer Schott and Nathan Spicer. The song is about a truck in good condition that has to be sold because it’s a painful reminder of a lost love. Its lyrics reference other McGraw song titles, including a direct nod to his 1998 #1 hit, “Where The Green Grass Grows,” as well as more salutes to his 2014 chart-topper, “Shotgun Rider,” and 2013 album title cut, “Two Lanes Of Freedom.”
