If you bought your kid this toy for Christmas, hopefully you gave it a test run. A mom on TikTok posted an angry video after she realized a toy her toddler got was telling him inappropriate, off-color jokes.
It’s a fake remote control made by a company in Japan called Linsay. It’s yellow with pink-and-blue buttons, and the box says it’s for kids three and up…but when you push the buttons, it tells jokes. Some are NOT for children that young.
The kid’s great-grandmother bought it for him for Christmas, apparently through Walmart.com. Wile he was using it, his family heard it say something about DRIVE-BY SHOOTINGS.
The joke was, “What makes a clip-clop, clip-clop, BANG sound?” and the answer was, “An Amish drive-by shooting.”
The mom reached out to the company, and they said they’ve stopped selling it while they look into what happened.
Walmart says a third-party seller listed it on their site, and they’ve stopped selling it too. Other sites have pulled it down as well, including Lowe’s, Macy’s, Office Depot, and ShopHQ.com.
