Who doesn’t love a feel good story? This one teacher at a middle school in Kansas got a great surprise over the holidays, courtesy of Queen Reba McEntire and the site OneCountry.com.
Her name is Katie Banks-Todd. She’s a music and drama teacher, and a huge Reba fan. So one of her co-workers nominated her for a contest One Country was throwing.
Reba sent a video message, and surprised her with a $10,000 donation from One Country for her music-and-arts program. She also got free tickets to a recent Reba concert. This good story actually happened back in November, but they just posted a video of it on YouTube.
