If you haven’t heard, Jimmie Allen is in big trouble after his former day-to-day manager filed a lawsuit last week accusing him of sexual assault.
She says he assaulted her multiple times over the course of two years. He claims everything was consensual but admits they did have an affair.
News of the lawsuit hit last Thursday, and the fallout has been fast and fierce. By Friday, his label BBR Music Group decided to “suspend all activity with him.” And his agent UTA also cut ties.
If you were hoping to see him at CMA Fest next month, you won’t. They apparently dropped him too. The show’s set for next month in Nashville, but he won’t be performing anymore.
Jimmie and his wife Lex who’s currently pregnant with their third kid…announced they were separating last month. I hope this ain’t the reason they separated and I hope none of this true…because it’s horrible news for Jimmie Allen.
