Here we go again. It’s another rockstar who had a career basically come to a stop…waking up and deciding they can do country music too.
According to Blabbermouth…Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin apparently wants to be the next Aaron Lewis…or Kid Rock…or Darius Rucker. That last one is vey unlikely…but yeah, he wants to go country.
He said, “I’ve been throwing around the idea of doing a country record…just maybe take a little stab at it…It’s gonna be a very diverse record…not JUST country. [But] I could sing country. I could sing that type of style all day long…effortlessly.”
As long as old Wes puts out some real country music and not some watered down bullshit trying to pass as country music. I’ll welcome him.
