So, it looks like Post Malone’s first country writing credit ain’t going quite as planned.
Around the CMA Awards back in November Post was in Nashville. Ernest even shared a picture of himself with Morgan Wallen along Post hanging out in the studio to prove he was in fact…in Nashville working on some things in the country music world.
Morgan shared a clip of the new song on his Instagram with the caption, “I had some help.”
He even tagged producer/writer Charlie Handsome, in addition to tagging Post and Ernest, which implies that they’re his co-writers on this song.
Now this is a screen recording that clip…
It appears due to the under appreciated response it got…the Instagram reel is gone now.

Some of the top comments won’t let you down, because internet is known for people who love to give their opinions. It’s also little crazy to me to see fans saying that, “it’s the first Morgan song I haven’t liked”, but here we are…
“Not really feeling this one…”
“First Morgan song I haven’t liked.”
“Morgan bud what’s going on.”
“I don’t know how I feel about this ngl.”
“The editing is awful. He sounds robotic lol.”
“Cool collab but the song itself is so bad lmao.”
“Anyone else think this was a joke at first? Respectfully.”
“Can’t say I’m a fan of this song.”
“You’ve done better.”
“This sucks🔥🔥.”
“This ain’t it.”
“There’s still time to delete this bud.”
“Never release this 🔥🔥.”
“Needs a little work.”
This comment was spot on though…because this is a demo and will it likely not sound like this if and when it’s ever released…
“Y’all it’s a demo tape, everything will be mastered way before it releases if it does release… it’s clearly to build hype for a collab with Posty and show that [they’re] working on music.”
This was more than likely posted to really build some hype for whatever else Morgan and Post might having coming in 2024.
