Darius Rucker got in some trouble with law in Tennessee. It’s not exactly clear what went down, but it’s being described as a “minor drug offense.”
He was charged with two counts of “simple possession / casual exchange of a controlled substance,” as well as a violation of the state’s vehicle registration law. Which it sounds like he had expired tags.
TMZ posted the story, along with this quote from his attorney: “Darius is fully cooperating with authorities related to misdemeanor charges.” The law needs to leave Darius alone by the way. That man is a national treasure.
