Craig Campbell has been working on a cover album called the “Class Of ‘89” and the first song from it drops everywhere this Friday.
This project only has 6 cover songs on it and I can’t wait to hear the whole thing when it arrives come April 19th. The first song coming is Clint Black’s signature hit “Killin’ Time”.
The “Class Of ‘89” pays homage to country artists who were signed to Nashville label deals in 1989 and helped shaped the sound of 90s country music. Mullets, bolo ties and stoned washed jeans were everywhere. It was a beautiful time to be alive and I welcome this little EP from Craig whole heartedly.
