Luke Bryan and fans throwing cell phones on stage is a terrible combination.
He played the Coast City Country Festival in Vancouver over the weekend and while Luke was hyping up the audience at his show in Canada on Saturday night…he slipped on a fan’s cellphone that was rudely thrown on stage.
Now he got back up like a pro, laughed it off while tossing the phone back to the fan. Which was evidence of the incident. He said, “It’s OK”, before jokingly telling the concertgoer, “my lawyer will be calling.”
The fall looked embarrassing onstage, but Luke appeared to be amused by the incident as he proceeded to ask the crowd, “did anybody get that [on camera]?” I would’ve laid there for at least four songs to make sure I didn’t break anything. I mean Luke is man of certain age. It’s how people break hips.
Luke grabbed another persons cellphone and requested the production crew to get a closer look at the play-by-play action up on the big screen. “Let’s zoom in, zoom in,” he said, before letting out an enthusiastic “yes” at the sight of him falling hard on his backside.
“I need some[thing] viral, this is viral, all right,” he said, who also happens to be no stranger to onstage mishaps. Luke has been known to fall on and off stage often. It’s the getting back up that matters.
