A torrential downpour showed up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as Carrie Underwood was set to finish her headlining set at the Carolina Country Music Fest on Sunday night. That wasn’t going to stop her from doing what she’s payed to do.
The country superstar returned to the stage to end her show with the standard set finale, “Before He Cheats”, in which she delivered in a rainstorm. As she was leaving the rain-slicked stage following her final number, she slipped and fell going down the stairs leading offstage. She’s fine though.
Thankfully she was not injured in her fall, and posted rain-drenched footage of the end of her show on X, saying, “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!”
