Cody Johnson Was Trusted to Deliver the National Anthem Ahead Of the MLB’s All-Star Game And It Was Flawless

When in Texas. It’s always best to get a Texan to show America how to perform our National Anthem.

The second night of the MLB’s All-Star festivities took place last night and country star Cody Johnson was trusted with performing the national anthem ahead of the game, which is taking place in CoJo’s home state of Texas. It was flawless.

This year’s All-Star festivities found their new host city in Arlington, Texas at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers. Now if there was any confusion where it was taking place…everything about the event had a country/Texas theme to it.

Bryce Harper’s pre-All-Star-game outfit was made for Texas.

Following the players introductions, Cody Johnson took the center stage, removed his hat and he sang the shit out of the National Anthem. It’s what CoJo does and he does it well.
