It’s hard to believe that the Randy Rogers Band has been playing country music for a living for well over two decades now.
I’m personally thankful that they have. Their first album, ‘Like It Used Be’, introduced the band to the world in 2002. I was hooked as a fan. Their follow up album in August of 2002, ‘Rollercoaster’, just proved their staying power in country music.
’Rollercoaster’ was just as good as the first album and their music has been solid since day one. Randy and the boys decided to do a twentieth anniversary album release of ‘Rolloercoaster’. The band showed up at Waterloo Records store in Austin, Texas to do an autograph signing and a in store performance to celebrate the album’s anniversary.
Randy made this little girl day while they at the record store…well probably her life…when he sang with her at the store. They sang one of their fan favorites, “Kiss Me In The Dark”, off of their third album ‘Just A Matter Of Time’. Which is also a damn fine album.
