This is becoming a regular occurrence.
Zach Bryan’s relationship with X (the platform formerly known as Twitter…or whatever the hell you call it now days) is always on and off.
He likes to post a lot of consciousness thoughts on Twitter. Okay. Let’s call it what is. The man apparently drunk tweets and I ain’t judging. I’ve been known to do that as well. They’re personally some of my favorite tweets.
Now when Zach starts getting backlash of any kind for his “honest” tweets, instead of just ignoring the bs, Zach will jump in and start defending himself, trying to clear things up, and eventually it seems to always lead to him deactivating his account for a while. It happens frequently.
This time…it all started when Zach posted a string of tweets about Kanye West. At first he tweeted that he “misses Ye everyday,” before clarifying that while he doesn’t support Ye’s controversial beliefs and statements, he misses his music:
“Don’t support Ye, I miss Ye.”
Then the tweet heard around Twitter really upset the Swifties when he tweeted that “Kanye > Taylor. Obviously Kanye and Taylor have their own history after the infamous VMA Awards moment that really made Taylor Swift a household name.

Not only did Taylor’s rabid fanbase begin to come at him, because people who think logically know they are rabid wild animals who care for no one but their lord and savior, Taylor Swift. It also looks like some people were just bent out of shape that Zach would publicly support an artist like Kanye with his history:

That’s when Zach resorted to his damage control with the Swifties, tweeting about his love for Taylor and her music.

The damage was done though and her fans still weren’t happy. Mainly because her fans can be somewhat insane and emotionally unstable when it comes to someone having a different taste in music, they always feel the need to publicly shame others for it. Let’s be real.
Then Zach left Twitter…X…again…
