Garth Brooks’ Sex Assault Case Won’t Be Dismissed, at Least for Now

Garth Brooks’ request to have his sex assault case dismissed got denied. So, it’s not going away, at least for now.

Garth’s former hair and makeup artist filed the suit back in October. She claims he exposed himself, and was less-than-professional in other ways too.

A federal judge nixed his request to toss the case pending the outcome of a separate lawsuit Garth filed. He’s accusing her of defamation and extortion.

The request was denied “without prejudice,” which means he can still ask for it to be dismissed again at a later date. But not until the defamation case is worked out.
