The best shows are usually at a small bar in the middle of nowhere.
Cody Jinks got back his honky tonk roots and decided to play a pop-up show at the Wild Horse Saloon in Durango, Colorado this past Saturday (1/11/25). A small bar and a stage is where Cody got his start. So, he wanted to get back to that for at least one night anyway. It’s where some of the best music and artists are born.
He posted this on his socials…
“Sometimes it’s just good for the soul to get back to your Honky Tonk roots, so that’s just what we did last night. We threw a pop up show at The Wild Horse Saloon in Durango and had a heckuva time. Amber and her staff couldn’t have been nicer, great place!
The band has been holed up working on new music for yall to be released in the Summer and needed a night to jam for some great folks. Thanks to you fans that came out, it was a special night all the way around! And a special thanks to Durango LaPlata County Sheriff’s Dept for coming out and taking great care of everyone. Protecting and serving, Big Thanks!”
Being lucky in life is being one those people who were lucky enough to see Cody Jinks in this kind of atmosphere again. It was a full band acoustic pop-up show and the bar was obviously packed. The show started at 7 PM and ran until 11 PM. Needless to say, Cody and the boys showed up to play for the Wild Horse Saloon in Durango, Colorado.
