Concert for Carolina: All $24.5 Million Went Exactly Where Promised

Luke Combs and Eric Church’s ‘Concert for Carolina’ raised $24.5 million for Hurricane Helene victims last fall. They were also the recipients of the CRS 2025 Artist Humanitarian Award this year, because of their amazing efforts to help their home state of North Carolina…and rightfully so.

Luke promised “every single dollar” would be used to help them. So, did they follow through?

It looks like the answer is a resounding yes. “The Charlotte Observer” just did a big story on how every cent has been accounted for.

Half of the money went to four nonprofits Luke picked as well. Which includes Samaritan’s Purse, Eblen Charities, and two different food banks.

The other half went to Eric’s nonprofit called Chief Cares to build new homes for people who lost theirs in the storm.  The CEO says the charity received a payment of more than $12 million last month.

They used $850,000 of it earlier this month to buy land for 30 to 40 new houses. They’re expected to be finished sometime this summer.
