All the Best Moments From “Opry 100: A Live Celebration”

The “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” went down last night on NBC and it was pretty awesome. What a great way to celebrate the Grand Ole Opry turning 100 years old.

The 100th anniversary isn’t officially until November, but why not start celebrating now?

Here are some of the best moments from last night:

1.  Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson were part of an awesome Charlie Daniels Band tribute. They sang “Drinkin’ My Baby Goodbye” and “Devil Went Down to Georgia”.

2.  Carrie Underwood performed a Randy Travis tribute. Of course Randy was in the audience and got to sing the last notes of “Forever and Ever, Amen”.

3.  Alan Jackson sang, “Chattahoochee”. The show clocked in at three hours, but this performance alone was worth the price of admission.

4.  Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood did a pretty cool George Jones tribute.

5.  Blake Shelton did a great job as host.  He seemed to get looser as the night went on. I’m sure it nothing to do with his alcohol intake.
