Country Artists Dominate the List of Most Popular Walk-Up Songs in Major League Baseball

We already know country music has fully crossed over into the mainstream and as it should. Now if you needed further proof, look no further than Major League Baseball.

When a batter is coming up to the plate, the stadium will play them a walk-up song that the player chooses that best represents them.

One reporter was nice enough to post every baseball team’s playlist of all of their walk-up songs.  After crunching the numbers, one thing was made crystal clear…country music is dominating the walk-up songs y’all.

Here are the most popular walk-up songs in Major League Baseball…and you’ll notice how four of the top five are country.

1.  “White Horse” by Chris Stapleton

2.  “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash

3.  “The Stroke” by Billy Squier

4.  “God’s Country” by Blake Shelton

5.  “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” by Luke Combs.

Other country artists appearing on the most-used walk-up song list are…Cody Jinks and Morgan Wallen.
