Stoney LaRue Singing “Oklahoma Breakdown” at “The Boys From Oklahoma” Concert in Stillwater Was Priceless

I first learned about Stoney LaRue in 2005 when he gave the country music world “The Red Dirt Album”.

Now I really got into Stoney’s music though when the “Live At Billy Bobs Texas” album came out in 2006, not because I was at that show, but because it had a dvd to accompany the live album. Which I still own that same album and dvd to this day. Proudly I might add.

That dvd showed the country music fan base exactly how good Stoney was and still is. That man is the reason why I know the song “Oklahoma Breakdown”. I enjoyed going down to the river and getting tore up as in a lot of us red dirt music fans did..and still do.

Stoney was a part of “The Boys From Oklahoma” event that Cross Canadian Ragweed just pulled off in Stillwater and to see videos of him playing “Oklahoma Breakdown” in front that audience looked simply perfect.
