Say hello to the 2025 ‘Rock The Plains’ country music festival.
The Country Stampede left Riley County in 2019, after 24 years, and moved to Topeka before later moving to Bonner Springs. So, ‘Rock The Plains’ is moving in. The festival will offer northeast Kansas in Tuttle Creek State Park a mix of country, red dirt and Americana artists, according to rocktheplains.com.
Brandyn Steen, the ‘Rock The Plains’ owner/executive producer, said Manhattan, KS is one of the best places for an event like this. They will be capping tickets around 10,000 according to Brandyn who also said, “this will allow us to get a good feeling on how we want our 2026 event to go”.
Now they are planning on this festival to grow into being a 3-night event rather than just a 2-night festival like it’s going to be for 2025. I mean they have start somewhere and this inaugural lineup is stacked so far.
The Randy Rogers Band is going to headline Friday August 8th with the help of Aaron Watson, Braxton Keith, Kaitlin Butts, Curtis Grimes, Jenna Paulette and Clay Aery opening night one.
The stage on night two will see Casey Donahew headline and supporting acts include the Josh Abbott Band, Pat Green, Logan Mize, Adam Hood, Kat Hasty and Clay Aery
