People who believe Beyoncé is an actual country artist are also full grown adults who believe Santa and the Tooth-fairy are real. Let’s be real.
Gavin Adcock isn’t impressed at all in the fact that Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ is sitting in a very nice comfortable spot on the Apple Music Country Chart. Which is also above his music on that particular chart too…and I really don’t blame him for his reaction to be honest.
In a clip that’s now gone viral, which shows Gavin reacting to Bey’s country album snagging a spot like this ahead of other country artists on an actual country music chart, because the only absolute truth is simple. Bey is the complete opposite of what country music is. Arguing that fact shows your poor judgement in understanding the true meaning of “three chords and the truth”.
Gavin said, “that shit ain’t country music and it ain’t ever been country music, and it ain’t gonna be country music”. And from the looks of it, the fans (and myself included) couldn’t agree more.
Gavin of course had to clear things up, and when I say clear things up, I mean he reiterated how her ‘Cowboy Carter’ album is far from country.
