The Academy of Country Music Announced Their 2025 Special Award Honorees

The Academy of Country Music just announced the recipients of the special awards that will be given out for the 60th ACM Honors Awards.

Here are some of the honorees:

1. The ACM Icon Award will be given to both Eric Church, and Ben Vaughn. Eric is being recognized for all that he’s done for Hurricane Helene relief efforts…and Ben is being celebrated for his 40 plus years in the music industry.

2. The ACM International Award will be given to Luke Combs for his “outstanding contributions to the growth of country music throughout the world.”

3. The ACM Lifting Lives Award will be given to Jelly Roll. The award is given to the person who “is devoted to improving lives through the power of music, has a generosity of spirit, and is committed to serving others.”

4. The ACM Milestone Award will be given to Randy Travis. This award is given for an “unprecedented or outstanding achievement in the field of country music.” Randy is pioneering the use of A.I.-assisted vocals to revive his career.

5. And the ACM Spirit Award goes to Cody Johnson. This award is inspired by Merle Haggard and is given to the person that continues the legacy of country music by following their own path.

All of the winners will be celebrated at the 18th Academy of Country Music Honors…which takes place Wednesday, August 20th in Nashville.
