Blake Shelton continues to be one of the funniest interviews around. He and his wife, Gwen Stefani, were asked about cover songs and he had a honest Blake reaction.
Blake was talking about how one of his favorite No Doubt songs is a cover of Talk Talk’s “It’s My Life”. He said that he likes his wife’s version better.
Then made him pause for a second. So, he laughed and proceeded to say, “I hope nobody ever remakes any of my music, because I know that will happen to me. People will be like, ‘Oh my God, [that’s] way better than Blake Shelton.'”
Maybe Adam Levine should cover one of Blake’s songs. I’m sure he’d love that.
