If you’re unaware who Tanya Tucker is, and you call yourself a country music fan, please do your homework on her. She’s a living country music legend.
We first found out about Sheyna Gee on TikTok when her song “Ghost” came up in my fyp and we thought she sounded a little bit like Tanya Tucker. The comparison in her voice is a compliment and pretty spot on to our ears.
Sheyna has now delivered on that sound in her own way and posted an acoustic cover of Tanya’s classic “Delta Dawn” on her socials. It’s pure perfection for a cover too.
I also wouldn’t mind hearing Sheyna and Tanya team up for duet of this song too. So, I’m just going to put that out into the universe and hope that happens.
