On September 15th Cross Canadian Ragweed updated their social media accounts causing a frenzy in the country music community. Mainly because it had been roughly 13 years since anyone heard from CCR. It was the reunion that’s always been needed in country music.
That reunion officially happened too. Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Turnpike Troubadours co-headlined “The Boys From Oklahoma” show at Boone Pickens Stadium on what was only supposed to be on April 12th. Then they had to add three more shows due to the demand of tickets selling out so fast. The boys from Oklahoma wound up playing Boone Pickens Stadium April 10th through the 13th selling out all four nights.
So, the boys want a round two in 2026. Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Turnpike Troubadours will co-headline “The Boys From Oklahoma Round 2” on Saturday April 11, 2026. Special guest include Wyatt Flores, Shane Smith & The Saints and The Great Divide with more than likely a surprise guest…or more.
