Two of the best voices to ever grace country music have finally teamed up for a song together.
According to a post on socials, “in 2009, Ronnie Dunn wrote a song about Jamey Johnson and what it’s like trying to make it in Nashville. After all these years, they finally recorded it.”
Ronnie and Jamey’s song called “Never Gonna Be” will be out September 12, 2025 anywhere you stream music. Ronnie and Jamey could literally sing the phone book…and I’d listen to them sing it on repeat for days on in.
With new Waylon music, the news of Merle Haggard music coming this week and now this is almost too much good news in one week. Of course with all of this good news in one week alone…makes me feel that country music is healing.
