It was just announced that Sabrina Carpenter will make her Grand Ole Opry debut on October 7th.
The doesn’t even have a country music album to her name, she’s going to Opry to help them celebrate their big anniversary year. It will be part of the Opry’s 100th-anniversary celebrations that have been going on all year.
She’ll share the stage with Laci Kaye Booth and Kameron Marlowe…and more artists are expected to be announced soon.
Now of course there are some country fans who are clearly not happy about her Opry appearance and they have voiced their opinions on Instagram.

There’s plenty of more to read on the Opry’s post Instagram to you’d like, because that’s all we gathered to paint that picture. You can feel free to leave comment there too.
Now it looks like Sabrina is going to be busy in the near future as well. She also just announced she’ll host “Saturday Night Live” for the first time on October 18th…and will headline Coachella next spring.
If she’s playing the Grand Ole Opry…I’m wondering if this mean she’s going to make a country album next? Everyone is who’s not country is doing that now. So, she might a well get on board to make one too.
