I don’t mean to get to ahead of myself here and too excited after just one day of the album being released…but I am.
After a quick google search of looking for the top Apple iTunes country albums as of now, I found that Waylon Jennings’ “Songbird” album is sitting in the number one spot.
The man passed away on February 13, 2002. His last album was released in 1998. Twenty three years after Waylon’s passing…and after just one day of this album being released it’s the number country album on as of right now. This news makes my Texas and country listening heart full.
