King George Strait Announced A 2026 Show At Clemson’s Memorial Stadium, “George Strait At Death Valley”, With Cody Johnson And Wyatt Flores

I was hoping for “Strait Fest”, but this is what we’re getting.

George posted a flyer on his socials from his 1999 “George Strait Chevy Truck Music Festival”, along with the caption, “Here’s a clue! Let us know your guess in the comments.”

That of course sent fans into a little tizzy (like me)…and everyone was convinced that it meant something massive was coming. The comment section also lit up on George’s Instagram post.

One fan wrote, “I still have my original brochure from that show. Best concert of my life. Please bring it back”. They said please too. Which is as nice.

The Clemson jersey he shared on his Instagram story should’ve been the real give away as well. Now we know exactly what he was teasing as of this morning.

George Strait announced a concert that’s been twenty six years in the making. It’s going down next year in Death Valley, home of the Clemson Tigers in Clemson, South Carolina at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026.

It’s for one night only, in-the-round that’s featuring Cody Johnson and Wyatt Flores as George’s openers. The social post had a caption that reads, “the last time Death Valley hosted a concert was 1999 and it was George Strait. In 2026, the King returns.”

Tickets will go on-sale in a couple weeks, on Friday, October 31st. This will more than likely sell fast and you can sign up now for early access now at georgestrait.com/shows.
