Jameson Rodgers Is Facing a Lawsuit for Hitting a Fan In The Face With a Beer Back In 2022

Jameson Rodgers is facing a lawsuit after allegedly hitting a fan with a full can of Miller Lite during his 2022 set at the Barefoot Country Music Festival in New Jersey.

According to court documents, Jameson tossed several unopened beers into the crowd, and one reportedly struck a fan, quote, “violently and without warning”. I thought most people in the crowd at a festival were always ready for a free beer. Cleary I’m wrong.

Apparently it hit her in the head and face, which allegedly caused “severe and permanent” injuries. So, does drinking alcohol in some cases too.

Now the case was actually filed last year, but it’s back in the news after an appeals court ruled that Jameson’s label, Sony Music, must remain a defendant. I bet Sony lawyers are pissed about that.

Miller Brewing Company is also named in the suit. I mean why not. If going to sue. You have to include everyone you can. It’s also another reminder, please don’t throw things at concerts. Whether you’re a fan, or the artist.
