That Little Petition to Replace Bad Bunny with George Strait At The 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show Has Passed 100,000 Signatures

It’s the little petition that’s not giving up.

That petition online that’s calling for the Puerto Rican singer to be replaced with King George Strait at the Super Bowl Halftime Show is still getting some signatures.

The petition says that the show should “unite our country, honor American culture, and remain family friendly.” I mean you can’t get more family friendly than King George. He’s an all American cowboy and the man has 60 number one songs to his name. No one else in any genre of music has ever achieved that accomplishment neither.

Even this Bunny character, who I thought was a cartoon character, before I really knew he was real living human being can’t touch George’s record of number one songs. His name threw me off a little, because most grown men I know…don’t go by the name of Bunny. Much less “Bad Bunny”. Hell…his name really sounds like a bad porn movie. As in a low budget kind of movie from the late 70s to early 80s. Hopefully that paints the picture better for you.

We saw the petition start out with only a few thousand signatures. Then it passed 70,000 signatures. Now that little petition to replace Mr. Bunny at the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show with George Strait has passed 100,000 signatures.

Last checked as of now, the signature count is sitting at 100,575. Of course I know this petition is more than likely not going to move the needle to actually see George play the halftime show at the Super Bowl, but it does make me feel good in seeing that I’m not only person who would like to see that happen.

The kid in me who grew up in South Texas on George Strait’s music…definitely wouldn’t mind seeing it too.
